Skill Flow Construction Ltd ("we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17393523. Our registered office is 50 Princes Street, Ipswich IP1 1RJ, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

• Enquiries. When you email us, we receive your name, email address, company, the content of your message and any files you send.
• Clients. Contact and billing details, project correspondence and the project files you provide.
• Website visits. Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver and secure the website.

Project files can contain personal data about other people, such as names in drawing title blocks. We use it only to carry out the work you ask for.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tools.

How we use personal data

• To answer enquiries, prepare quotes and deliver our services. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into one.
• To keep accounting and tax records. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
• To secure the website, run our business and protect our legal rights. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Who we share it with

• Vercel Inc., which hosts this website.
• Namecheap, Inc., which provides our email service.
• Cloud storage or collaboration platforms agreed with you for a project.
• Professional advisers, such as accountants, and public authorities where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations, including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or by the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum issued by the Information Commissioner.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months.
• Client, contract and accounting records: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to.
• Project files: for the duration of the project and any retention period agreed with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of your personal data;
• correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• delete your data;
• restrict or object to our use of it;
• transfer it to you or to another organisation.

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To make a request, email hello@skillflowconstruction.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.
